Be ready to make a photo and one might just appear

There seems to be a fair bit of luck involved with finding a nice photo.

I drove past Mountsberg Conservation Area today on my way to work and thought I would stop in and take a photo or two of the owls.

Well those shots didn't work at all, but as I was heading back to the highway I passed a farmers field who had used old stumps and roots as his fence line.

I stopped and shot a whole roll on the Pentax 645 using the 300mm lens. I'm not sure they're award winners but if I wasn't out with a camera I wouldn't have taken anything.

That seems to be one of the main lessons of this challenge. Be ready to make a photo and one might just appear.
