Today's Parent cover shoot at Kevin Hewitt's studio

Today's Parent Magazine holds an annual photo contest with the top four finalists attending a cover photo shoot in Toronto. Today was the cover shoot at Kevin Hewitt's downtown studio.

This is a great studio and perfect for this type of work, and Kevin and his team did a great job.

I was on hand to lend tech support since Kevin was testing out the Sony A900 24mg full frame camera and the Zeiss lenses.

This was a full day with the four shoots spread out throughout the day. A team of 12 were on hand to make it happen.

The parents did what they could do to get their young ones to co-operate and put on a great smile.

Kevin was pretty happy with the A900 and was surprised how great the Zeiss 135mm F1.8 was.

I also learned that the radio control for the Thomas the Tank Engine radio control train will also work to fire the lighting system.
