Memory is getting cheaper

When Nikon brought out the D1x a number of years ago I was an early adapter and bought one right away.

I remember buying memory cards for just over $500 for a 512 stick. The IBM 1 gb microdrives were selling for over $1000.

The other day I bought some Sony SD 8gb cards for $16.25.

Ever wonder how the price could drop so much. Check out this great Lexar Promo video about making the cards and you'll see how automated this process is.
