The Hamilton Spectator editorial department has a vacancy for a Group 1 Art Director. The successful candidate will have five years experience including helping lead a daily newspaper through a redesign and providing daily advice, mentoring and artistic direction to editors and newsroom staff.
The position entails overall artistic direction of the newspaper and front-line leadership in high impact display pages daily.
Preference will be given to candidates who know and have worked with modern operation systems such as NewsGate, Layout Champ, Photoshop and HTML5.
