Another Photo Job

The Waterloo Region Record daily newspaper is now accepting applications for the 2011 summer internship photographer program. The program is designed for current students or recent graduates.
The Record expects the successful intern to jump right in, covering daily news, features, portraits, fashion and life assignments. Long-term and multimedia projects are strongly encouraged.
The successful candidate can expect to hone his or her skills by working with six staff photographers and a photo editor. This is a full-time summer intern position starting mid-May ending late August. Salary is the starting rate for a staff photographer according to the collective agreement.
The intern will be working a rotating schedule including long weekends, weekends and evenings.
Applicants must have their own photography equipment. A reliable car and valid driver's license are required. Mileage will be paid at the company's current rate.
Please submit a CD portfolio of with all images in one folder. Multimedia projects in a separate folder. Include a resume, cover letter and contact information.
