Trying the Zeiss 100mm Makro on the Nikon 700

The most popular of the Zeiss manual focus lenses for the Nikon and Canon mount cameras seems to be the Makro-Planar 2/100mm.

I've been playing with the lens for a couple days now and have borrowed a friends D700 to try it on.

It's a little strange to go back to manual focus on a SLR but the focus movement on this lens is very smooth and focusing wasn't an issue. Most likely I would use manual focus on a macro lens anyway.
