Searching in the past for the perfect kit

I had a chance to check out how the rich people lived, five centuries ago. We toured a castle in northern France called Chateau du Haut-Koenigsbourg. Over-all we are doing better than they were, although they had quite a view.

These shots were all done with the Sony A550 and the 24-70mm Zeiss lens. This camera lens package is very nice for travel. It's not too heavy but the more I travel the less bulky gear I'm looking for. This combo with the fast F2.8 lens is a bit bulky.

Still searching for the perfect kit.
