You want fall colour? Today's the day

The Leaves are out.

I toured around the Niagara Escarpment near Hamilton today and I would say the fall colours are out in all their splendour today. The hills are alive with orange and yellow and the sun was out for a great part of the day.

I think this is the peak day in this area, especially if it starts to rain and blow and clear the leaves off.

I also noticed the salmon are starting to run in the creeks. Later than usual but I did see a few.

If you want to get shots of those fall colours... better start loading the gear.
