My friend Steve invited me over to see the cedar canoe he's building.
I had visions of a dusty old workshop, sawdust everywhere, great light floating in through the huge dust covered windows.
The old paint can setting next to the window with great light on it. Like in this photo.
Well I forgot he was an engineer, the place was spotless, I've eaten more dust. Plus it was in the basement with one small window at the end. His area looked more like this photo....
Well I tried.
The top photo was done with the Sony A850 full frame and the 28-75mm F2.8 Sony lens.
The bottom snap was done with the Sony HX5V.
