Sony NEX7 with Zeiss M-mount 35mm ZM

This is the test I'm most interested in. How does the NEX7 look with my M-mount Zeiss lenses.

I thought I would try the Sony NEX7 with every lens I had.

I'm not drawing any conclusions, just posting the images for you to enjoy.

The camera was the latest pre-production version which I just picked up this week.

The ISO was set to 100.

Camera on a man's size tripod.

Self-timer so I didn't jerk anything.

Everything was done on manual focus... used the scene enlarger to focus the best I could.

Aperture priority.

AWB.

This is the Zeiss M-mount 35mm ZM at f2. Shutter speed was maxed out at 1/4000.

  3. Hi.
I read a lot about corners colour shift/cast using sony nex(es) (more on 7 than 5n) and symmetric designed lenses like zeiss zm biogon series.
Have you ever had this problem in your shots?
On this your picture I cannot see any colour shift/cast. Did you use something like cornerfix or is it an "unmanaged" shot?
    Thank you.
