Photokina Report - Zeiss 35mm f1.4

A few weeks back I mentioned that Zeiss is launching a new Distagon 35mm f1.4 in the Nikon and Canon mounts.

I had a chance to play with the lens at Photokina.

It's a bit of a beast but you would expect that with a F1.4 anyway. The build quality is outstanding which you would also expect from Zeiss.

I think this is going to be a very successful addition to the Zeiss line-up and might even surprise Zeiss with it's popularity.
