Got a chance to try the Sony 35mm F1.8
This is a shot with the new Sony 35mm F1.8 on the Alpha A55 camera. I'll try and get more details about the lens later but I thought people might find a shot interesting.
Someone here in Germany told me they started this church in 1280. They hope to be finished soon.
Very interested to learn more about the 35mm. I'm getting the A33 soon with the kit lens, but would also like a prime lens to start with as well. This will be my first SLR/SLT and I've been reading that it's a good idea to have a fast prime; I'm just pretty sure the acclaimed 50mm will not be wide enough for the types of pictures I'm fond of taking.
I found your photo's taken using this lens on flickr. There are some nice shots. I'm trying to get a feel for 'real life' performance on this lens and wonder if you could post either the full shot or some cropped sections of the photo's you've taken at 100% so that I can see how sharp the lens is and whats sort of chromatic abberation it has. Having the original exif info in the file also helps - then I can see how wide the aperture was. I'm a bit concerned about sharpness wide open.
