One of the great Rock photographers has died

One of the great Rock and Roll photographers has past away.

Jim Marshall made iconic images of iconic rockers. The great shots we know of Hendrix, Janis Joplin with a bottle of Southern Comfort, Jagger from the 72 World Tour, and all the stuff from Woodstock, where he was the official photographer.

There's a great shot of him working at Woodstock... five Leica's loaded with Tri-X.

You can read more on his website.

I guess I should have bought a print last year like I had planned.
